Mosquito Control Inspector

The TANGIPAHOA MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT #1 (TMAD) is currently accepting applications for MOSQUITO CONTROL INSPECTOR.  This full-time position primarily consists of outdoor work involving the inspection and treatment of mosquito-breeding habitat.

Job Requirements:

• Certification by LDAF in category 8A is required within 6 months of date of hire. 
• Must have high school diploma.
• Valid La. driver’s license, must be a licensed driver for a minimum of 6 years and have a good driving record.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• And good verbal and written communications skills are required.

Starting salary is $15.39/hour with an excellent benefits package.
