MOSQUITO CONTROL INSPECTOR

The TANGIPAHOA MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT #1 (TMAD) is currently accepting applications for MOSQUITO CONTROL INSPECTOR. This full-time position primarily consists of outdoor work involving the inspection and treatment of mosquito-breeding habitat. Certification by LDAF in category 8A is required within 6 months of date of hire. Must have high school diploma, valid Louisiana driver’s license, must be a licensed driver for a minimum of 6 years and have a good driving record. Strong computer proficiency, and good verbal and written communications skills are required. Starting salary is $18.73/hour with an excellent benefits package.
